Florio’s medical activities in 2024

2024 was an incredible year for the Florio Team. We are always striving to improve our products, and that means constantly talking to doctors and people living with rare diseases – and understand how we can use the Florio technology to support them through their journey. 

This means not only conducting interviews with people living with haemophilia, ITP and PNH, but also, participating in medical congresses, meeting new experts, and presenting our latest developments to healthcare professionals globally.  Here is a quick recap of Florio’s congress presence in 2024.

GTH – Gesellschaft für Thrombose- und Hämostaseforschung 

In February, our team headed to Vienna, where Florio had its own booth to present the latest updates in our products to attendees of the Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis . We had a great number of insightful conversations  – and we will be back in 2025. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for more information about Florio’s Symposium in GTH 2025 in the upcoming months. 

Nordic ITP Meeting 

In April, Florio was invited to present to an audience of specialists how digital tools could support the management of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). In addition, we had a booth at the event enabling many conversations with a variety of clinicians and scientists from the Nordic countries.   

57th NordCoag 

In September, we headed to Helsinki to participate in the 57th Nordic Coagulation Meeting. Medical experts from all over the Nordics came together to discuss the latest developments in haemostasis and thrombosis research. We were represented in the exhibition area with our booth enabling in-depth conversations and providing answers to attending healthcare professionals.
